Pengukuran Karakteristik Photovoltaic Thermalyaitu Suhu, Irradiance,Tegangan dan Arus dikontrol dengan mikrokontroller ATMega 8535 dan&#13;
disimpan ke database secara realtime, sehingga data irradiance, suhu, tegangan&#13;
dan arus dapat di monitor melalui Personal Computerdan disimpan dalam database. Sistem monitoring karakteristik PhotovoltaicThermal yang telah dirancang&#13;
dalam penelitian ini meliputi beberapa komponen utama pada bagian pengolahan dan pengiriman data seperti ATmega8535, sensor suhu LM35, sensor phototransistor, Voltage Devider, Bluetooth HC-05, rangkaian driver relay dan&#13;
rangkaian catu daya. Sedangkan pada bagian penerimaan data memerlukan aplikasi visual basic 2010 sebagai media penampil data dan microsoft access sebagai media penyimpan data. &#13;
Hasil pengujian sistem monitoring karakteristik PhotovoltaicThermal menunjukkanpersentase kesalahan sensor suhu ± 1.78%, voltage devider 1 ± 0.68%, voltage devider 2 ± 0.66%, sensor phototransistor ± 0.19%. Sedangkan&#13;
untuk data pengukuran yang diperoleh pada tanggal 19 Oktober 2016 pada pukul 09.00 – 15.00 WIB di kampus teknik elektro, Universitas Negeri Padang menunjukkan hasil data PhotovoltaicThermal dan Photovoltaic biasa masingmasing&#13;
pada suhu 42.2˚C dan 53.1˚C, tegangan sebesar 18.1 Volt dan 18.6 Volt,dan nilai arus sebesar 3.5 Ampere dan 3.4 Ampere. Data-data tersebut teramati pada Irradiance tertinggi sebesar 870.7 W/m 2  pada pukul 13.00 WIB. Jadi dapat&#13;
disimpulkan bahwa walaupun tegangan yang dihasilkan Photovoltaic/Thermal lebih kecil dari Photovoltaic biasa suhu air panas yang dihasilkan sistem Photovoltaic/Thermal memenuhi standar temperatur air panas untuk keperluan&#13;
