Dengan menggunakan bantuan komponen-komponen seperti kontaktor, relay ataupun menggunakan komponen-komponen elektronika. Terjadinya perubahan penyulutan waktu tunda triac, maka akan terjadi perubahan tegangan dan arus keluaran. Sehingga, perubahan tersebut mengakibatkan perubahan daya yang diberikan ke beban dan menghasilkan putaran motor yang berbeda-beda tergantung daya yang diberikan. Pengaturan kecepatan putaran motor yang sederhana dapat dilakukan dengan bantuan sistem mikrokontroler, adapun mikrokontroler yang digunakan adalah mikrokontroler Arduino Uno R2 dan android sebagai sistem interface. Dengan sistem pengendalian ini, maka dapat untuk mengatur kecepatan putaran motor induksi satu phasa sesuai dengan set point yang diatur pada android.
