Namun, pada kenyataannya di SMPN 4 V Koto Kampung Dalam, pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas VIII masih belum optimal. Belum optimalnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep ini, akan berdampak pada kemampuan matematis lainnya. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Formulate Share Listen Create . Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan apakah pemahaman konsep peserta didik yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Formulate Share Listen Create lebih baik daripada yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas VIII SMPN 4 V Koto Kampung Dalam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperiment semu dengan rancangan penelitian non-equivalent posttest only control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 4 V Koto Kampung Dalam tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik total sampling, kelas VIII.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes pemahaman konsep berupa soal essay. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tes akhir dengan menggunakan uji-t, diperoleh PValue=0,003 maka tolak H0. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Formulate Share Listen Create lebih baik daripada yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensioanl di kelas VIII SMPN 4 V Koto Kampung Dalam.LB Theory and practice of education2023-08Universitas Negeri Padang;Pendidikan Matematika FMIPA UNPThesis
