Textbooks are one of the learning resources that can be used in learning process. Textbooks use in Senior High Schools in West Sumatera are variatives, and the level of SPS presentation is unknown. This study aims was to determine the quality of textbooks to faciliated student to get SPS offerings in the books used at Senior High Schools in West Sumatera. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The study population is all Physics textbooks for Class XI Semester 1 published in Indonesia and used in West Sumatera. The sample of research was the four most used books in West Sumatera High School, three of which are recommended by the government. The research instrument used was very valid. The research instrument used 10 SPS components, which are translated into 31 SPS indicators. Each indicator is explained by one to three instruments. Data collection technique used is the study of documents. Data analysis technique used content study. The results were obtained that the book used as a reference for learning physics in Class XI High School Semester 1 has facilitated observational skills indicators, but has not facilitated the skill indicators of asking questions. Books that have the highest proportion of SPS indicators are textbooks written by Muhammad & Rahmad in 2016, while textbooks that have the lowest proportion of SPS indicators are textbooks written by Sunardi, Paramitha & Andreas in 2016.
