Using a content analysis approach and systematic literature review of 73 articles (2017–March 2022), results show: (a) integrated research topics dominate, especially in developing learning modules with 4D designs; (b) learning outcomes integrated with ethnoscience include scientific literacy, critical thinking, creative thinking, and problem-solving; (c) ethnoscience-integrated models are dominated by project-based learning and discovery learning in high school biology. Ethnoscience preserves local culture while enhancing scientific literacy.
