Abstract

Children literature created by those who are between 9-12 years old in Indonesia describes children’s world and thought. There can be much found such as description of children’s dreams, children’s idol figures, also things liked and disliked by children. The children’ s world and thought tend to be described in foreign language in term of English. The English usage can be seen from place nomenclature, things nomenclature, figure nomenclature, and dialogue among characters. It means that children writers have ability to use English. This reality shows positive phenomenon that they are able to create such thing the same with other children writers in the world, which attracts other foreign children readers to read in one side. In fact in other side, this phenomenon points that inheritance phenomenon of Indonesian language as if it is unable to represent children‘s expression as a whole.
