Abstract

Undang-undang No. 6 of 2014 about Desa, Government Regulation No. 60 about Dana Desa and Permendes PDTT No. 3 of 2015 about Tenaga Pendamping Desaas the momentum for stakeholders to make disaster education as one of the priority programs in the development and empowerment of rural communities. This is due to the amount of damage and even setbacks against development outcomes caused by disaster is huge. In order to minimize the impact of disasters, so it needed the villagers are aware of disasters through disaster education. This disaster education is one important task that must be carried out by assistants villages particularly Cadre Community Empowerment (KPMD). KPMD is a member of the community that have a very central role as everyday direct contact with villagers. Disaster education program of the rural population is expected in turn spawned a cadre of community empowerment are aware of the disaster and villages disaster preparedness as one of the steps in disaster mitigation, so that the results of the development that has been undertaken by the government to minimize the risk of damage both a physical or non-physical when disaster strikes
