Abstract
To increase society participation in development is a very important thing and will be decisive for the success of development itself. Because of this thing to raise awareness of the importance of a development program conducted for the society, and will also the fosters a feeling on the results of the construction carried out. In building framework empowering the village society, the implementation of Law No. 6 2014 about the village had to be escorted by professional facilitators tasked to facilitate and assist the society as an innovative creative guided by the Village Law (6/2014) on the implementation of the village government, the implementation of village development, village society development, society empowerment village. Rural societies are facilitated to learn to be able to manage the development activities independently. One aspect that can be taken to realize the things above are: the need for a deep understanding of the society as a social system, because of the companion village can determine strategic steps in performing their duties in accordance with local conditions. This article will be discuss about the society as a social system and its relevance in the process of public participation.
