Abstract

Problems in the /earning activities of the subject of Social Science become the background of this study. The problem that is always supposed to be interesting so far is that social science /earning is taught through factual concepts. Teachersonly deal with forget achievement in the cum'cu/urn. This tends to be boring and concidered second level subject. Another problem that arises is related to the teachers preparation. Teacher college only prepares teachers at certain subjects of certain dicipline. They do not master discipline beyond their disciplines, and this has been taking place for years. The teachers only teach one subject. Based on the problems mentioned above, it is necessary to do the study of the implen7entation of cun-iculm 2013. Especially the subject of Socia/ Science at the /eve/ of SMPMTS. This implementation study tries to higlight the implementation of curriculum 2013. Especially at the subject of Social Science that study higlight planning, implementation and assesment. This study applies fhe qualitative approach by purposive swing technic. Data are collagtedthro ughdocumen t study, interview, and observation with observation guide/ine. Applies data analisis by Miles and Hubennan. The result of the study show weeknesses of the lesson plan desain by the teachers, Especiallyin the princ~pal in ekuivalence namely; (I) objective desain doesn't contain Audience,Behauvior, Condition and Degree, (2) objective desain doesn't concider the availability of learning resources, scientific approach and the caracteristic of the student.And (3) the choise of learning media doesn't concider what the objective requaire, learning resources, caractenstic of the student andscientific approach.
