Abstract

This research was a descriptive with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The purposes of this research were to find out the implementation of blended learning and students’ perceptions of blended learning at SMAN 1 Padang. The research participants were three English teachers who taught eleventh grade and all of eleventh grade students at SMAN 1 Padang. The instrumentations of this research were observation guide, interview guide and questionnaire. The results of the study showed that in the implementation of blended learning, learning process run well, but the teacher skipped several stages in the teaching process because of the limited learning time during the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, results of the study also showed that students had positive perception toward the implementation of blended learning with the mean score 3.12.
