Abstract
Speech acts are part of pragmatics. Speech act is the utterance of a sentence to state that an intention of the speaker is known to the listener. The thing that must be considered in this language behavior is how a speaker can how the interlocutor is able to digest or interpret the message of the speaker. If these requirements can be met, then a communication can be said to be successful. Interrogative speech acts are divided into four types, namely: Shuuji Gimonbun, Atemono Teki Gimonbun, Mondai tekiyo Gimonbun, Shisakuteki Gimonbun. The method in this research uses qualitative. The data collection technique used in this research is by listening (observation) only to interrogative type dialogs made by characters in Tsugumi Ohba's Death Note Anime. Then the data management stage is carried out by classifying the data collected according to the aspects of speech act aspects. The results of this study include the Interrogative function in the Death Note anime which is presented in detail by describing one by one
