Abstract

Based on the findings of previous researchers and the results of field observations, it shows that learning is still dominated by lecturers, conventional learning models, and the lack of student interpersonal intelligence are factors that cause low learning outcomes. The solution offered to overcome these problems is to develop an integrated STAD learning model of interpersonal intelligence. This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective STAD integrated interpersonal intelligence learning model to improve Seven C's skills in writing business letters in universities. This research development used the ADDIE approach, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research produced model books, student books, and lecturer books that were valid, practical, and effective. The results of the validation of the three books were as follows; 1) The validation components of model books such as book construction, rational models, supporting theories, syntax, social systems, reaction principles, support systems, accompaniment impacts, and instructional impacts as well as learning implementation were in the very valid category, 2) Validity of the average value of book components students such as layout, graphics, language, and content were very valid 3) The validity of the average value of the lecturer's book components such as layout, graphics, language, and content was very valid. Student responses to the model book can be seen from the implementation of the learning model. Practitioners stated that the integration of the STAD learning model in improving students' skills in writing business letters was easy to implement. The ease of implementing this model is due to the availability of all model components and ready-to-use, especially student books which are facilitated by various activities in each learning model syntax. The average value of the component of the model book was very practical. The results of the effectiveness test of data analysis showed that students' writing skills in the Seven C's aspect showed significant achievements and are in a very good category. The results of the hypothesis test show that there was a significant difference in the results of the Seven C's writing skill test of students in the experimental class between before and after treatment, and there was a significant difference in the implementation of the STAD learning model between the control class and the experimental class. In conclusion, the findings showed that there was a difference in the total test scores between the control class and the experimental class from the first meeting to the sixth meeting. The control class got a good category and the experimental class got a very good category.
