Abstract
The quantitative descriptive techniques method in this study. Interviews and questionnaires used as the research instruments. In this investigation, two questionnaires were used. The first, a composite questionnaire Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) was designed by Horwitz and Foreign Language Speaking Anxiety Scale (FLSAS) by Deyuan He. Overall, these two questionnaires have 50 statements divided into three categories, namely communication apprehension, fear of speaking tests, and fear of negative evolution by peers and lecturers. The second, adapted and ready-to-use questionnaire from Asakereh, A & Dehghhannezhad, M. It consists of 28 questions. Data analysis and interpretation of FLCAS and FLSAS indicate that the students' speaking anxiety level was high level with a percentage of 95%. While the level of self-efficacy was mediun level with a percentage of 77%. This study shows that the factors of lack of confidence or lack of preparation, lack of vocabulary and fear of negative evolution are the core factors of speaking anxiety. While the sources or factors that influence self-efficacy consist of performance accomplishment, vicarious experiences, social persuasions, and emotional states.
