Abstract
This article aims to describe gender and moral judgement. Gender as a socio-cultural construction in reality undeniably has influences various aspects of human life, including in providing moral judgement. So far thestudy of moral judgement prioritizes the highest moral consideration as a moral judgement based on moral justice. However, the study of moral judgement from gender perspective found that gender had a decisive role in aperson's moral judgement. This means that genderdifferences cause differences in moral judgment. The moraljudgment is known as the ethic of care. The second theory is a critique to the first theory who seems to ignore particularaspects of gender differences. Gilligan calls it the difference voices, which means gender differences lead to differences in a person's moral judgment when making moral decision.Such differences can not be stratified by placing one consideration is higher than the other because each has areason and strength viewed from a gender perspective. Therefore, moral learning as a part of Civic Education ideally integrates gender perspective in learning development in order to enable the creation of a valuable learning that puts morality as a reference in commonity life.
