Abstract
All musical products that are born by people who have Islamic culture, are actually a rich musical potential to be realized into a new musical work based on Islamic spirituality. The cultivation of this musical composition is the realization of musical ideas inspired by Islamic traditional arts activities that show the spirit of the Koto Baru Muaro Labuah Solok District, in the form of new Music compositions. In terms of education, seeing the extent to which an Islamic culture can be created or developed which is still within the tolerance of its people based on the Islamic aesthetic and spiritual approach and the science of creation they have. The research method was carried out using an ethnographic approach, in the field work activities also carried out labor and studio work which was focused on three stages namely transcription and analysis, the creation of musical works and performances.
