Abstract

UV-Vis Spectrophotometer is a tool used to measure the absorbance of a substance. Detector which is used to detect the magnitude of absorbance of a substance is the photodiode array. The output of the photodiode array is in current form, the magnitude of current proportional to the magnitude of light intensity on the detector. In order to resulting output of photodiode array can be measured is needed strengthening. The initial design of the output circuit produced by the photodiode array vulnerable noise, whether it comes from the circuit itself, thermal and so forth. The purpose of this research is to design processing circuit the output of signal that withoutnoise, starting from the design of electronic circuit photodiode array detector, current to voltage converter, strengthening of the voltage, noise control and hardware-software interfacing that displayed on a PC (personal computer) for the application of UV-VIS spectrophotometer. This type of photodiode array S4111-16R used is 320nm-1100nm spectral response.
