Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris mengenai pengaruh independence commitment terhadap niat melakukan whistleblowing dengan group cohession sebagai variabel moderasi. Jenis penelitian ini tergolong dalam penelitian survei. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner pada 43 mahasiswa akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Padang. Analisis data dilakuakan dengan menggunakan uji t, uji F, uji R2 dan MRA. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa independence commitment tidak berpengaruh terhadap niat melakukan whistleblowing, namun group cohession memoderasi hubungan antara independence commitment dengan whistleblowing. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji hipotesis, dimana pada H1 nilai signifikansi yaitu 0,242<0,05 dan nilai R Square meningkat dari 0,512 atau 51,2% menjadi 0,619 atau 61,9% pada regresi pertama dan kedua. Kata Kunci : Independence commitment, Group cohession, Whistleblowing. Abstract This study aims to empirically examine the effect of independence commitment on the intention to do whistleblowing with group cohession as a moderating variable. This type of research is classified as survey research. Data in this study were collected using a questionnaire on 43 accounting students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Padang. Data analysis was performed using the t test, F test, R2 and MRA tests. The results of this study conclude that independence commitment does not affect the intention to do whistleblowing, but group cohession moderates the relationship between independence commitment and whistleblowing. This is evidenced by the hypothesis test, where the H1 significance value is 0.242 <0.05 and the value of R Square increased from 0.512 or 51.2% to 0.619 or 61.9% in the first and second regression
