Abstract
Structure and nomenclature of carbon compounds taught in the class XII of high school for the second semester. Constraints faced by the students in this material is difficulty in understanding how the structure of carbon compounds are highly variable and naming functional groups (IUPAC and trivial). For more varied, designed a computer based learning media. This media contains images of structure and interactive questions that support the construction of concept. The aim of this research is to produce computer based instructional media to understand the proper use of learning the structure and nomenclature of carbon compounds. This type of research is research & development (R & D). Feasibility test is using a questionnaire that includes the form, content, motivation, and practicality that given to the students in grade XII IPA.1 of SMA Pembangunan. Data were analyzed with a Likert scale. The results of data analysis of the feasibility for the overall media is 4.42. This suggests that it is very decent media used for the learning process in XII class.
