Abstract

Red chili peppers (Capsicum annum L.) as vegetables not only contain protein, fats and carbohydrates, but also some vitamins. The need for chili in the market is always high, so the price is often a high fluctuation. The use of synthetic fertilizers in pepper cultivation practice of long standing. No doubt that farming practices are very unfavorable for the environment. Therefore, since the last few years, the government has launched an organic farm which one component is the use of organic fertilizers. This study aims to determine the addition of liquid organic fertilizers on crop yields red chili. Research using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were:; dose of a liquid organic fertilizer Tunica ie 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 mL / polybag. Parameters measured were days to flowering, number of flowers, wet and dry fruit weight chili. Data was analyzed using ANOVA and a further test DNMRT at 5% level. The results showed that the addition of liquid organic fertilizer Tunica accelerate flowering and increase the number of flowers, wet weight and dry weight of fruit
