Abstract

The complexity morphology and geology structure in West Sumatra, lead to occurrence of the frequent land deformation. In order to reduce impact of land deformation, early detection of ground movement is necessary. In this research, Persistent Scatterer Interferometric (PSI) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technique has applied on 13 ascending ALOS PALSAR scene from July 2007 until November 2010 for detection of the landslide. The PSI is an advanced of Interferometric SAR technique to overcome the essential limitation related to temporal and geological decorrelation and atmospheric condition. This technique successfully detected the land deformation on research area.
