Abstract

The learning equipments are used at school at this time such as lesson plan and worksheet have not optimalized yet to help student developing their comprehension. So, it need the development of mathematics learning tools which are able to give chance for student to construct their knowledge. In this research, we developed the learning tools based on ACE and it was estimate to reach the goal. The aim is to create the validation, practical and effective new mathematics learning tools based on ACE. This development research is using ploom model, that consist of 3 steps: they are preliminary, prototyping and assessment. The learning tools are using student worksheet and lesson plan. The subject of this research is the VIII grade of Junior High School number 12 Padang. The validation of this learning tools was done by expert of mathematics, education technology, and language. The practicality of this learning tools have seen from observation of learning implementation, the questionnaire practicality by student and teachers and interviewed by students. The effectiveness can be seen from the result of student achievement and the collected data was analyzed descriptively.
