Abstract

3 textbooks use students padang city do not contain adolescent's promotive and preventative health values. Biological teaching materials promotive and preventive-oriented adolescent reproductive health is one alternative to increase the knowledge of learners to maintain the health of reproductive organs. Based on that, the research was conducted with the aim of producing biology teaching-oriented materials promoting and preventing adolescent reproductive health on human reproduction system material for students of SMA / MA that valid and practical.The type of this research is development research using 3 stages of 4-D model that is define, design, develop, and disseminate. The define stage includes final preliminary analysis, student analysis, task analysis, concept analysis, and the formulation of learning objectives. In the design stage, the design of biology teaching materials is oriented to promotive and preventive of adolescent reproductive health. At the develop stage is tested the validity of teaching materials by 4 people validator and practice test by 2 teachers and 28 students of class XI SMAN 8 Padang.The data analysis is done qualitatively in the form of descriptive describing the validity and the practicability of the developed teaching materials.From the result of validity test, the average value of validity is 81,73% with valid criterion. The result of the teacher's and students’ practicality test shows that the promoting and promoting adolescent biologic teaching material of adolescent reproductive health has average 83.53% with practical criteria. Thus it can be concluded that the biological teaching materials oriented promotif and preventif reproductive health of adolescent on human reproduction system material for learners of SMA / MA developed have valid and practical criteria.
