Abstract
This article presents the design concept and the mechanism of a joint interior of the beams and columns. Join of beam and column can be classified from the geometric form and join behavior when experiencing earthquake loads. Based on the geometric form, join divided to exterior join and interior join. Based on the method of manufacture, consisti of the monoliths join and precast join. While based on a seismic loads, can be classified as elastic join and inelastic join. Based on the concept of design capacity, is expected to join will ductile under strong earthquake load.
