Abstract

This paper discusses about the use of Brilliant Story Game in teaching speaking to junior high school students in which it is hoped to develop speaking skill in English and students‟ interest in speaking. In addition, this game can build students‟ mentality in expressing ideas. The use of this game consists of 3 steps. First, students look at the picture, highlight kind of words and match some words. Second, the teacher starts the beginning of the story and point out one of the groups to continue the story. Third, the opposite groups guess what words used and who person is told. The group who can answer most correctly will be the winner.
