Abstract
Landslide risk and hazard mapping was conducted in sianok canyon, Bukittinggi municipality. The research of aim are (1) to mapping landslide mapping and its spatian and, (2) to predictions risk landslide levels and its spatial distribution. Terrain unit analysis employing mapping unit which obtained by overlaing landform, slope, landuse, soil, and geology. This unit is used as mapping unit reflecting land characteristic. Survey method using sample area is employed in this research. The result of this research showed into medium level that its spatial distribution in Aur Birugo Tigo Baleh, Guguk Panjang, and Mandiangin Koto Selayan regions. The lows level landslide hazard its spatial in flat to undulating topography. The risk landslide fall into low, medium, and high levels. Low landslide risk spatial in lands unit non settlement, medium risk landslide level spatial in lands unit settlement with semi permanent building, and high landslide risk level in lands unit settlement with permanent building.
