Abstract

This research is motivated by the student’s writing ability danraku “watashi no ichinichi” that still low. This research is aim to describe the writing ability danraku “watashi no ichinichi” of students from class XI SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The type of this research is a quantitative research with descriptive methode. The sample in this research is 22 students from class XI SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The writer use total sampling to recall the sample. The data in this research is students’s writing danraku “watashi no ichinichi” test scores. The result of this research can be described as follows. First, the writing ability danraku “watashi no ichinichi” of students from class XI SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP is on a Good qualification (B) in the range of 76% - 85%, with average scores of 76,36. Second, indicator 1 (goi) is on more than enough qualification in the range of 66%-75% with average score of 72.72. Third, indicator 2 (joshi) is on good qualification (B) in the range of 76% - 85% with average score 82,72. Fourth, indicator 3 (katsuyou) is on more than enough qualification in the range of 66%-75% with average scores of 72,72.
