Abstract
This research aims to know the impact of mining iron ore Mineral of the Earth PT. Royalties against (1) the protected forest Area suffered deforestation (2) water quality Stem Pulakek based on test parameter TSS, BOD, COD and around the mining site, at Kenagarian Pulakek, Sub-district Pauh Duo,Regency Solok Selatan.This type of research is descriptive and quantitative approach, with a case study research methods. Data analysis techniques to determine water quality Stem Pulakek is done through the analysis of the test of labor.From the results of the mapping through the interpretation of satellite images use google earth in using program mapping arcview 3.2 show has happened deforestation conservation with a broad 54,18 Ha or 54 % of total vast mining. The strategy and the efforts can be done to minimize damage preserved forest occurring due to industrial pursuits mining by means of standard: (1) applying strategic environmental study RTRW district Solok Selatan years 2011-2031 ( 2 ) no. 41 in 1999 maketh act as the legal basis the policy of granting permission to any mining industry (3 ) apply PP no. 28 / 2008 on the regional landscaping plan national.
