Abstract
Time Management in learning is one of the skills students must possess. Improvement efforts have not reached the target as expected. This study aims to see the effectiveness of content mastery services using problem solving approach to improve student time management in learning. This research uses quantitative approach. The type of this research is Quasi Experiment design of The Non Equivalent Countrol Group. The subjects of the study were students of class X of Catering Service 7 and X Catering 8 SMK N 9 Padang. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, then analyzed by different test techniques (t-test) using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) and Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the study found content mastery services using effective problem solving approach in improving student time management in learning. This condition is indicated by (1) there is a significant difference in time management of students in experimental group study before and after being given treatment of content mastery service using problem solving approach, (2) there is no significant difference in student time management in learning control group before and (3) there are significant differences in time management of students in learning between the experimental group given the treatment of content mastery using problem solving approach with the control group given the treatment of content mastery services without using problem solving approach
