Marriage is the initial process of the formation of a household that depends on its dependence on readiness, maturity, and mental quality. The process beforeentering the marriage stage, a person has been intercepted by issues related tothe adjustment, either to the prospective wife or husband, as well as to otherpeople who have relationships, along with the norms and prevailing sociavalues. Similarly, during a married life, there are often problems related toconflicts in married life triggered by many factors. The intervention ofcounseling services plays an important role in maintaining the stability offamily integrity based on preparation before marriage. A whole andharmonious family is the dream of every marriage. In order to realize the dreamfamily, every family member needs to work together, especially to overcomethe problems that may arise and sometimes need optimal handling of thecounselor. Especially the problems that arise in modern life today. Thecounselor as an educator essentially has the responsibility to create thecondition of effective daily living on the client through various approaches andtechniques related to the effort to create a harmonious family.
